The Franklin Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is home to both indoor and outdoor gardens. The conservatory represents four exotic regions of the world, with gardens such as the Himalayan Mountains and the Pacific Island. Landscaped grounds and theme gardens surround the conservatory. The conservatory offers educational classes and many special events.

This garden is the site of a very unique arts project. It is the only topiary interpretation of a landscape painting in existence. The garden is an interpretation of Georges Saurat's famous painting "On The Island Of La Grande Jatte." Of the 54 topiary people, the tallest is 12 feet tall. The park also includes a real pond, eight boats and various animals.

Once owned by Misses Grace and Mary Innis, Inniswood was dedicated to Metro Parks in 1972. The gardens feature approximately 2000 species of flowers and herbs, including over 250 varieties of roses. Enjoy a quiet stroll along one of the three park trails beside the waterfalls and underneath the trellis arches. The Innis house holds a horticultural library and monthly art exhibits.
